Mark J. Rubin is an attorney, CPA, and senior executive with more than two decades of experience serving as General Counsel, CFO, and COO across private equity, hedge funds, and alternative investment platforms. His experience spans M&A, fund formation and governance, regulatory and securities compliance, and tax and entity structuring for domestic and offshore entities. Mr. Rubin has held senior leadership roles at investment firms managing up to $3 billion in assets, including helping grow one fund from inception to more than $3 billion within 24 months. He has negotiated and closed credit facilities, led firms through acquisitions and SEC examinations, and directed hundreds of audits and tax filings. He began his career in audit at a Big Four accounting firm and in corporate law, where he worked on public and private transactions valued at up to $2 billion. He has structured funds and investment vehicles across the U.S., the Cayman Islands, Luxembourg, and other jurisdictions, and has built the controls, reporting systems, and teams needed to support multibillion-dollar growth. At Rubinov Global, Mr. Rubin brings this combination of legal, financial, and operational expertise to clients pursuing complex cross-border transactions, capital strategy, and government-related initiatives. His experience structuring investments, managing regulatory risk, and aligning legal protections with investor objectives strengthens the firm's ability to execute in highly regulated environments. Mr. Rubin holds a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University.
